Aleksandra started her creative journey by studying graphic design at upper secondary school called Mediegymnasiet in Malmö. There she fell in love with drawing. She developed her own style and continued this as a hobby that turned into something more. She started selling her art and was several times part of various art fares.

In 2013 she met Jonas, whom she’s now married with and has Crooked Moon Tattoo – Malmö together with. Jonas was already a tattoo artist by then and Aleksandra actually hadn’t any plans to become one herself. She was studing graphic design at Östra Grevie Folkhögskola when one of Jonas’ tattoo artist friends came up with the idea of Aleksandra becoming her apprentice. Since she always felt more at home with illustration rather than design, she thought tattooing could be something she’s enjoy. This was mid 2015 and the apprenticeship lasted throughout the year before Aleksandra felt it wasn’t a right fit. In january the following year Aleksandra became an apprentice for Jonas instead.
